Event Descriptions
CRPC Coffee Social is the Cedar Rapids Pagan
Community's weekly
coffee social. There is not always a set topic so discussion can range
from light
to serious in nature on a wide variety of topics. It is a chance to meet
other Pagans and have a good time.
CRPC's Pagans in the Park is an opportunity to
bring a picnic blanket, frisbees, drums, etc. and simply hang out in a
local park with other Pagans. This event only occurs during the summer
and only happens if the weather is good. We do not reserve the shelter,
but will be elsewhere in the park. Daniels Park is located on Oakland
Avenue, just north from Brewed Awakenings, through the Coe College Campus
and up Oakland a few blocks. The event is held at 6:30 on sundays. Feel
free to bring your dinner. (not occurring right now)
Drum Circle occurs every 2nd and 4th
Friday of the month at Unity Church on Blairs Ferry. All faiths are
welcome.
Iowa City & Cedar Rapids Pagans is a group of
Pagans who alternate
between meeting in Coralville and Cedar Rapids on the first sunday of the
month at Barnes & Noble at 1:00 pm.
Basic Irish Gaelic Pronunciation is a one hour
class in which you
will learn the history of the Gaelic languages, as well as how to properly
pronounce the language, with emphasis on deity, mythological creature, and
holiday names. The cost of this class is $4.
