Since every human body is different, we have found it easier to ask for individual measurements (in inches, please) than to have our customers find their sizes on a confusing size chart. Here is an explanation of how and where to measure some things with your tape:
| Measurement | Instructions |
|---|---|
| Bust | Measure under the arms, around the fullest part of the chest. |
| Waist | Measure around the natural waistline. |
| Neck-to-Waist | Measure from nape of neck down back to natural waistline. |
| Waist-to-Ankle | Measure from natural waist down to ankle. |
| Inseam | Measure a well-fitting pair of your pants along inside seam from crotch to bottom of hem. |
| Arm Length to Wrist | Bend arm at the elbow, measure from top of shoulder to elbow, then from elbow to wrist. Add the two together. |
| Hips | Measure around the widest part of your hips, including the buttocks (generally about 9" below the natural waistline). |
| Ribcage (underbust) | Measure around your chest directly under the breasts. |
| Shoulder-to-Shoulder (Across the Back) | Measure from the widest part of your shoulder across your back to the other shoulder. |
| Neck-to-Hips | Bend your neck forward and feel for the knob of bone at the base of your neck. Measure from this to the widest part of your buttocks (usually mid to lower buttocks). |
| Waist-to-Knee | Bend sideways until you find your natural waistline. Measure from this, over your hip, to the middle of your kneecap. |
| Back (From Armpit-to-Armpit) | Find the spot on your back where your arm meets your body. Measure from this on one side to the same place on the other side. |
| Armpit-to-Waist | Raise your arm out to the side. Measure from the hollow of your armpit to your natural waistline. |
| Neck | Measure around your neck, making sure your measuring tape is snug, but not too tight. |
| Flexed Bicep | Flex your arm. Measure around the largest part of your upper arm/bicep, making sure the tape is snug, but not too tight. |
| Arm Length to Knuckles | Raise your arm out to the side, level with your shoulder. Measure from the point of your shoulder to your knuckles, straight down your arm. |
| Wrist | Measure around your wrist, making sure the tape is snug. |
| Cup Size | Bodices only. Actual Bra-cup measurement. Are you an A, B, C, D, DD, E or larger bra cup? |
| Overall Height | How tall are you? |
